Plus, I had a bar mitzvah a few months ago. I got around $8000 from that, adding to my already saved $2000, to a total of around $10,000. Then I spent $3000 on my guitar and Macbook, and now I have a little over $7000, $5000 of which is in a CD. Not including the $100 I previously mentioned.

Sorry, but that's hard to believe. A small family? Far from rich? Not 8,000 dollars, maybe you should check again. Although, I got about 8,000 saved up(sorta like you, I have never really bought anything over 3,000 besides my drum set[2,500] but yea.)

Anywho, get smaller items, not one big thing. Like, from Theory 11, buy their Guardian deck, it's amazingly detailed. Then, I recommend Perfect PENetration from magicgeek.com. Or the coin-bite gimmick.

You most likely have a job or something, I have never spent more then 150$ on something and for me that is huge, and I don't have any money saved up (well only a couple hundred). To me it's hard to believe that teddy could save over 10,000 dollars considering his age, not as hard to believe for mind, but then again I doubt you have a job cause if you did you would be on just as often as marc and he isn't near on as much as you.

OK, it's true, and I don't feel like I have to convince you, sorry...

Believe me, I have a friend who had probably about twice as many people as I did and got $16,000!

And BTW, I got three $1000 gifts from two grandparent sets and an aunt.

Yea, well, maybe if it's in your trust fund you'd have that much. No one in their right mind should give a 12-year-old 1,000 dollars. Not at once. Were you relatives a little.....you know.....off the edge? Drunk? Just curious. Cause I don't find it possible to get that much in one day, and considering your age and time spent on the site you wouldn't have a decent job. Well, yet anyways. But aw well.
