Lol when you perform different people have different reactions. They could simply have been those type of people that gets astonished or amazed easilly. This is the reason why you perform on live audience to have an expected reaction to come out. Just by looking at someone and their mood you would be able to tell weather they are the "Easy Going" person and they usually get amazed with HUGE reac...

I personally hate this guy. He's boring, not a good performer, his hands are too locked up, like you know what he's doing with the diamond trick. Plus, the camera is just extremely crappy. Also, last point, that last trick took just way too long, took me 2 cans of Dr. Pepper and Scrubs on the T.V. for me to get through it, IF YA KNOW WHAT IM SAYIN!

You got it mindgame. I jsut dont like it when someone gets too much credit for what they didnt if they dont deserve it. If i was living in a place like NY or Chicago i can guarantee that i could find many people that wopuld have big reactions just by performing a simple 1 move in ACR

Yeh the kid in the other video was better he had a better camera man and camera. Btw I love Scrubs!!

and i didn't like the beret guy's style of magic, it's too jay sankeyish, it's almost cloned, no originality whatsoever.

Hello,

Thank you all for your feedback. The effects are far from simple... you need audience management skills and powerful presentation to pull them off. Not saying they were difficult technique-wise as they obviously were not, however you can kiss your reputation goodbye if you perform effects with bland, tasteless, borting presentation. Quite frankly, I don't care about the size of reaction I get, as long as I invoke wonder and mystery, if only for a minute. For me, simplicity is key when performing for large crowds such as those in the video. When there are 2--4 people around, I do my knucklebusters... unfortunately, crowds congregate so quickly that it's difficult to even start my best sleight of hand work.

I know, I'm very Sankey-influenced... I've watched one too many of his DVDs I guess.. I'm still trying to find myself persona-wise, you know? Hey, at least I'm not some dull guy who just acts like Blaine or Angel. However, I don't understand why I was called boring... care to clarify?
